No. Hong Kong does not generally require an ATA Carnet for the temporary importation of professional filming equipment. Depending on the production, alternative customs documentation and temporary import procedures may apply. While not mandatory, ATA Carnets may still be used for productions moving equipment between multiple international destinations.
